Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 2026
These terms apply to all trips booked through SeeKerala.com. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms below. This is a general summary; your specific booking confirmation will include the exact terms, prices, and cancellation deadlines applicable to your trip.
Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed once we receive a signed itinerary confirmation and the agreed deposit, typically 25–30% of the total trip cost. The remaining balance is due according to the schedule stated in your booking confirmation, usually no later than 30 days before travel. Prices quoted are per person unless otherwise stated and are subject to change until a deposit is received.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms vary by season and by the specific hotels, houseboats, and services booked, since our suppliers each set their own policies. As a general guide:
- More than 30 days before travel: partial refund, minus any non-refundable supplier deposits
- 15–30 days before travel: 50% of the total trip cost is typically non-refundable
- Less than 15 days before travel: the total trip cost is typically non-refundable
The exact cancellation schedule for your trip will be stated in your booking confirmation. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
Changes to your itinerary
We're happy to adjust your itinerary before departure, subject to availability. Changes requested after a deposit is paid may incur a rebooking fee from individual suppliers (hotels, houseboats, etc.), which we will always disclose before confirming the change.
Our responsibility
We act as an agent in arranging transport, accommodation, and activities provided by third-party suppliers (hotels, houseboat operators, drivers, guides). While we carefully vet every supplier we work with, we are not liable for the direct acts or omissions of independent third-party suppliers, except where required by applicable law. We are responsible for the accuracy of the itinerary and information we provide to you.
Travel documents and insurance
It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport, visa, and any required vaccinations for travel to India. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and lost luggage for the full duration of your trip.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kochi, Kerala.
