Our story
Started from one road trip that went right
SeeKerala started the way a lot of good travel businesses do: with a trip that went better than expected. Our founding team had spent years arranging Kerala travel informally, for friends, for friends of friends, mostly because the existing options felt either too generic (fixed group packages) or too unreliable (marketplace bookings with no accountability once you'd paid).
Since 2015, we've built that informal network into a proper destination management company, but kept the thing that made it work in the first place: we only plan Kerala. Not South India, not a pan-India circuit, just this one state, which means our recommendations come from direct experience rather than a catalogue.
We work with independent houseboat operators in Alleppey, plantation-stay owners in Munnar, physician-led Ayurveda centres near Kumarakom, and local guides in Fort Kochi, most of whom we've worked with for years. When something isn't right, we hear about it directly and fix it, because there's no larger network to hide behind.

You travel, we stay on call
Once you're in Kerala, our local number is open for anything: a change of plan, a question, a problem to fix.

Tourism that keeps money in the villages we visit
We route bookings toward independently owned houseboats, homestays, and guiding cooperatives wherever the experience allows for it, rather than defaulting to the largest chain operator. It's better for the places we send travellers to, and it usually makes for a more honest trip besides.
